NOTICE OF TAX REVENUE INCREASE

The ORANGE COUNTY EMERGENCY SERICES DISTRICT #1 conducted public hearings on August 29, 2019 and September 3, 2019 on a proposal to increase the total tax revenues of the Orange County Emergency Services District #1 from properties on the tax roll in the preceding year by 12.62 percent.

The total tax revenue proposed to be raised by last year at last year’s tax rate of .10000 for each $100 taxable value was $1,293,152.  

The total tax revenue proposed to be raised this year at the proposed tax rate of .10000 for each $100 of taxable value, excluding tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year, is $1,475,963. 

The total tax revenue proposed to be raised this year at the proposed tax rate of .10000 for each $100 of taxable value, including tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax rolls this year, is $1,489,666.

The ORANGE COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT #1 is scheduled to vote on the tax rate that will result in that tax increase at a public meeting to be held on September 17, 2019 at 2351 Highway 12 Vidor, TX 77662 at 5:30 PM. 

The ORANGE COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT #1 proposes to use the increase in total tax revenue for the purpose of Maintenance and Operations costs.


Notice of Public Hearing: Proposed Amendments to Ambulance Ordinance


Date and Time: June 18, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.

Location: 2351 State Highway 12, Vidor, Texas 77662.

         Notice is hereby given that the Orange County Emergency Service District No. 1 (“District’s)

         shall hold a public hearing prior to its Regular Meeting on June 18, 2019, to receive public
         comment on proposed changes to the District’s Ambulance Ordinance.
